Ubiquity – Connecting the Disconnected Internet?

Ubiquity – Connecting the Disconnected Internet?

So I know that I’m not exactly breaking news here – but I took another look at Ubiquity recently – and was impressed not only at the technology that Mozilla is developing, but at the same time the educational video through which they are marketing it.
Ubiquity aims to take the disconnected web and connect it.  [...]

    Twitter Waterfalling?

    Twitter Waterfalling?

When i first signed up to use twitter my reaction was kinda uhhh… so whats the point? This is just my facebook status isnt it? Why would i post it seperately here. meh… not really impressive. Remember that a part of my job is signing up for interesting and new services, checking out their product options, their feature list, market positioning, business case, etc. In fact there seemed to be a number of issues with the product. And do i really need to know that Kevin Rose is drinking tea and meeting up for beers?

Iv been using a duel monitor setup at work for almost a year now, but I had to stop the moment I got my new MacBook Pro.  I had ordered my computer from the states right when the new MBP’s were released – and at the time the MiniDisplay port to VGA Adaptor was not [...]

A Shadowy, Wet World of Squirt-Gun Assassins

A Shadowy, Wet World of Squirt-Gun Assassins

It was as though Michael Deane, a 32-year-old transplant from London, did not get the memo that crime is way down in Manhattan. He looked like something out of “Death Wish” as he drove slowly past his Riverside Drive apartment in broad daylight, his bloodshot eyes darting from pedestrians to parked cars to old people [...]
